Miles Miles Ltd are delighted to continue their sponsorship of Dan Ward as he enters his Musto Performance Skiff in the 2009 World Championships.
"The Musto Skiff season kicked off at Rutland Water Sailing Club in the Midlands. 30 boats showed up for what turned out to be a great weekends sailing, with good wind and lots of races.
For me this was a chance to see if the winter training had paid off and to line up against the best in the country. I tried to keep my expectations low as I’m still relatively new to the boat but I ended up coming 9th overall, which was great! The highlight was winning the third race – surprising myself and others.

The result gave me a lot of confidence but also highlighted the areas I need to improve on. Now I am looking forward to the next event is at Stokes Bay on the 18th & 19th April.

Miles Miles Ltd are delighted to announce their proud sponsorship of our team member Dan Ward as he enters his Musto Performance Skiff in the 2008 World Championships.
As a member of the Miles Miles team, Dan is able to rise to any challenge and his participation in this demanding Championship will be no exception. The event takes place at Lake Silvaplana, Switzerland, and runs from the 24th – 30th August 2008.
Conditions are challenging; water temperatures are approximately 15oC and participants are advised to use tent pegs to secure their boats through the overnight thunderstorms! The boat Dan will be sailing is a Musto Performance Skiff; sailed single handed the boat clocks speeds of over twenty knots and the hull with all deck fittings weighs only 55kg for a length of 4.55m.
